The last time the Raiders were in the playoffs, their wide receiving corps was led by the wonderful Tim Brown, supported by, oh, the greatest football player of all time (Jerry Rice).
Anyway, time has passed since then. The Raiders have had something like 15 head coaches and 15 starting quarterbacks in those 15 years. Jerry Rice and Tim Brown are happily retired.
I'm pretty sure that the only player who played on the 2002 Raiders team that played in Super Bowl 37, and is still playing on the Raiders this year, is Sea-Bass himself, Sebastian Janikowski.
How far can the Raiders go? Who knows? The AFC seems like it's anyone's conference this year. Tom Brady is older still than Sea-Bass, and he plays quarterback!
Let's go Raiders!
