I'd like to learn more about the applications that are currently available.
But the Android Market page says:
Check out our site for some of the more popular applications and games available in Android Market. For a comprehensive, up-to-date list of the thousands of titles that are available, you will need to view Android Market on a handset.
Why are only a few applications shown to ordinary web browsers? Is there a technical reason for this, or is this some sort of marketing or sales strategy thing?
