Google I/O seemed kind of underwhelming this year

Why do I feel like Google I/O was sort of a disappointment this year? Maybe I was expecting too much. Certainly there is some interesting stuff, including:

• WebM, the new open video format


• Froyo, the new 2.2 release of the Android platform


• the Prediction API


• the new Web Fonts work


• the Latitude API

But nothing really grabbed me this year.

What do you think? Am I missing something? What was the major focus of Google I/O from your perspective?
